| Biography: |
Named after an episode of The Sopranos, Meadowlands is the new project from 20 year old musician William Anderson, a fellow perhaps better known for being the singing bass player in post-punk band DARTZ! (Xtra Mile Recordings/Deep Elm) Influenced by Geoff Farina, Skip James, Joan Of Arc, American Analog Set, John Lee Hooker, Sunny Day Real Estate, Karate, The Sea and Cake, Metronomes and Glorytellers, Meadowlands has already been compared to the likes of Nick Drake and Iron and Wine. The debut Meadowlands album 'Oak Clusters' was released in October 2008 by Pay For The Piano Recordings, a label run by William's Dartz band mate Henry Carden.
