Let It Snow (Single)
Probably the best that can be said about this, the Christmas single from the purveyors of one of this year’s best debut albums, is that it’s nothing like the original.
What it is like, however, is turgid, fuzzed-up Scots indie with no discernable guts, humour or imagination. A great pity - the humour the band show on their original stuff is totally absent, the performance is lacklustre to say the least - it’s almost as if they wanted to sound boring. Maybe they did.
