A beautiful interpretation of a beautiful song - so beautiful, in fact, that it’s been used as the soundtrack to a particularly emotional moment on a TV comedy-drama based in a hospital. It’s that moving. It bodes well for the rest of the imminent album release, though - Scratch My Back, wherein Gabriel collects covers of works by Neil Young, Lou Reed and Radiohead, amongst others, using orchestral arrangements only. If you’ll excuse me, I’m off to find the original. . .
