The Retirement of Intelsat 3R / I Am A Social Network (Single)
Stop Eject plough the same fertile bass driven land as Joy Division and Pavement before them, fusing dark rhythms with splashes of 6 string explosions to create unpredictable and jarring thigh twitchers.
This double A side accomplishes the often sought yet rarely wrought combination of emotionally thoughtful whilst still being danceable Indie rock. The almost Ian Curtis-esque vocals of Robert Enola (I wonder how the Orchestral Manoeuvres in The Dark would describe him?) help to raise Stop Eject into the atmospheric realm just out of reach of their prole-like listeners.
Compelling and threatening - Stop Eject, hold above head and worship.
